You'll never guess what the compensation is. when I saw it i was like "WTF?".
Ghaleon wrote:My only beef with the game in general (story wise) is how every girl magically loves Yuuto. I mean I suppose that's a given because it's a game and you play as Yuuto, but really. I could understand that each girl loves him in their respective path, but it's more than that, it's like they all love him in any path, and their path is just the one where Yuuto loves them back >=P. Yuuto is is a girl magnet, holy shit. >=P

The eternal problem of a lot of VN. In this case I suppose that being one of the few humans (even if you are a Etranger) that treat them as people give you a lot of point with the spirits. With Esperia, Aselia and Orpha the daily interaction can explain their interest. Uruka is influenced with the whole thing of . Kyouko has the whole "chilhood friend" thing with her. Lesteena... I don't really know , maybe it was your personality?

But what you said it's true, Yuuto is a girl magnet, whatever he uses is even more effective than the Tohno gland.
iamin7ove wrote:Well, like i said, eien no aselia used too many convenient concepts =o= ... To tell you the truth, i think the script of Eien no Aselia kinda suck :\. If not because of character design and game system the game properly isnt that good ...

good things its different in seinarukana...

At what are you refering when saying "convenient concepts"?

Coming to the discussion a bit late, my apologies. Caveat - I don't think that much of the story (I rather preferred that of Tears to Tiara), and I found the routes rather insubstantial - most of the story is in the main storyline, and generally invariant.

Aselia's changes are subtle, and completed over the course of a long time once she's Eternal. She loves Yuuto and is motivated by that in her route, but otherwise I don't think she changes substantially from the main route character. Aselia is still a wonderful character and her route is fun (and my favourite), if something of a distraction. Aselia the Eternal is pretty nice, anyway.

Esperia's route is fairly straightforward. I think that Esperia and Aselia offer much more unequal partnerships role-wise than Orpha and Uruka, whom Yuuto regards as equals (which I prefer). She is nice enough, I suppose.

Orpha's route is enjoyable, and Orpha herself is pleasant and fun. Uruka's route is similar, but with less fun and more determination from the heroine.

Lesteena's scenes are pleasant, but don't really mesh with the story. The ending is different, and I'm not sure I like it.

There's not a lot to Tokimi's route. The one event in this game that really annoyed me was her resetting time after Yuuto asks her how old she is. I think that's a spectacular overreaction, and she'd have been better off using her power on her sex ritual or something.

Kyouko's route has quite a lot of complicated stuff to it, I don't really have much comment.

I don't find the routes insubtantial but it would be nice if they had provoked more changes in the main storyline, you have the reason in that it is rather invariant.

You like TtT more than EnA?
I didn't like it much, it was like Utawarerumono, but worse. At least for me.

TtT is the fastest-paced PC real-time SRPG I know of. I personally really enjoyed the battle system, and found the story charming and very well-presented. I find that a lot of people aren't quite so fond of the real-time battle system, in which case fair enough.

You should try Utawarerumono when you have time then. The figthing system is the same without the items, but I find the story many times better.

The fighting system is not at all the same - Uta is turn based. I also vastly prefer TtT's system over it, though it has its flaws.

I've tried Utawarerumono (http://vndb.org/u6907/list), and while its battle system is nothing new it's a pleasure to control - it takes half as many clicks to execute an action as in, say, Castle Fantasia. I personally found TtT's story more inspiring. Shame about the pointless random sexual encounters.

Referring to the 'love at first sight', 'powering up merely by spirit', 'memory wipe' ( this concept is used to develop storyline alot =o= ...... and what makes it convenient is that this concept is never explained in detail ) , ...

Oh, that certain things aren't explained doesn't matter a lot to me, after all that happens in nearly all books or VN.

The only convenient concept I can not stand is first sight baseless love, to me this thing is the supreme story killer.
