Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
You only get to use Tokimi in chapter 5 and she never gets the high eternal class. Orpha's eternal skills don't have very high mind reduction.
Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
I suspected as much. Pity, since the extra damage would be welcome. Then again, any AE skill that reduces the amount of actions the other side get is good, damage or no damage. I crunched some numbers back when I did the Malorigan mission on normal, but as I recall it didn't seem worth it to go for SS. The mission was significantly easier on hard, however, and you're probably right in that just ignoring Nihas should suffice (it's not as if there's a reason to pick that mana crystal up either at that point).
I suspected as much regarding the skills, though it's a mystery why they exist at all.
A friend of mine also encountered a bug with Nanaru; evidently she skipped a class and went directly to Amumahart. Is that supposed to happen, or is it a glitch? I forewent Nanaru on normal, so by the time I levelled her up she was already KK.
P.S. Where is my route for Selia? I'd probably pick her over any of the main heroines

Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
So I came across an enemy stack that had a defender with obscene block power that I needed dead that round, in the back was a blue spirit with icy banisher. Looking at my only available party (yuuto, orpha, selia. Not the best setup but I'm going for the orpha route this time), I realized that I had no chance to pwn that defender. But then it dawned on me, I could stick yuuto at the back, and wtfpwn the defender (a green spirit) with his aura photon beam. Being an etranger, it would be immune to icy banisher...Only it wasn't. wut tf.
Could someone please tell me exactly which etranger/black spirit spells are vulnerable to banisher, and if there are any spirit spells that are not? Or is Aura photon beam the only one?

There are lots of differences even in the same skills, but (ab) in skill type stands for Anti-blue (cannot be interrupted). Everything else can.
Napolitan.... Rush!!Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
Do the number of sword releases reset each you time you start a new game, or does it keep track from all playthroughs when determining your title?

Ahhh, thanksPhlebas wrote:There are lots of differences even in the same skills, but (ab) in skill type stands for Anti-blue (cannot be interrupted). Everything else can.
I was going to say the game forgets between games but then I realized I only sword released once during my first playthru and realized you need 2+ for it to kill your title. On that note, is there any penalty to letting subspirits die during the final fight with shun? Haven't had a problem with that yet but it'd be nice to know I guess.Do the number of sword releases reset each you time you start a new game, or does it keep track from all playthroughs when determining your title?
Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
Halion's Elemental Blast is a Start Support, all-target action-reduced stat-reduced tactical nuke. Yes, the same as Shun's Nova, without the damge. Less useful than Yuuto's Nova/Nanaru's Apocalypse, immensely useful in boss fight.
She make Shun's fight trivial in Super Hard if you have someone that can KO him in 1 round of combat, which you should have (Kyouko)
@Ghaleon: you wont see their Epilogue scene if any of them die in that fight. (...aren't you the same guy in MotK? )

Bah, so no penalty assuming you've already seen the epilogue scenes >=). But yeah, I'm the same Ghaleon.lunarium wrote:Halion's Elemental Blast is a Start Support, all-target action-reduced stat-reduced tactical nuke. Yes, the same as Shun's Nova, without the damge. Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
Most of the goals in EnA is for perfectionist only anyway (no Sword Release, no death, SS rank, etc). This game has so many way to cheese through stage, and offering so little for SS rank it's not funny
Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
So I beat up that nasty dragon with the action-eating
photon breath... The reward was 50,000 mana. I could have sworn I read somewhere over here it was over 200,000. Did I miss something?
How much is the 600 turn dragon worth? I'm barely at 400 on the final stage so I don't really bother looking.
