v1.0 Bug/Misspelling/Grammar Mistake Report Thread

Post by cheese » Wed Dec 31, 2008 1:37 am

EDIT: Please update to v1.1, and use the 1.1 bug/typo report thread instead.

Report all errors in the v1.0 release of the Tears to Tiara English patch here. Please read through the thread before posting to avoid re-reporting an error.

KNOWN ISSUES:

I can't save the game.
You're probably running on Vista, and the game doesn't have the rights to create the files. Try running the game with admin privileges.

The game crashes after the intro movie.
The ProSavage DDR3 video card is known to cause problems with this part of the game. PM me, and I'll send you a fix that resolves the problem. (If you have a different model of old video card and still experience this problem, let me know.)

When I get to a save point, for some reason the game will not save. I click on something marked "no data", click on it, and there's a sound but nothing else happens even if I double click and it doesn't matter which slot I choose. What do I need to do?

Are you running Vista? It may be that the game doesn't have the permissions to create the save files. Try running the game with admin privileges.

I dont know if this is bug or not.

But after I clicked Start. The text seems... broken. I tried changing the option but nothing happen.

And if I ignored this and continue with CTRL, some errors come up:

Text is too long to fit in the box (This can also happen if you're viewing a Jap scene in Eng mode).

Ive changed my regional language into Jap, and into Eng. But it keeps coming.

Can you give a screenshot of the 'broken' screen? And what OS you on?

Whoa, I've never seen that before. Does the game work properly if you run the original TtT.exe? Also, check the md5 checksum of grp.pak to make sure your installation isn't somehow corrupted. It should be 8c1701959c3c0571f5d9d027bbc35fc9

The language in that first screenshot you posted is Chinese, not the original Japanese. Have you previously applied a Chinese localization patch? Try deleting your Tears to Tiara directory and reinstalling.

My bad. The torrent from HF include a Chinese patch. I forgot about this.

Thx anyway.
