Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
In Hard mode you will find faceless mooks you faced in normal mode will be upgraded to demonic spiders. And Shun can use his nuke 3 times instead of 2.
Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
If you did a decent first playthrough and got all your spirits to 20-25+ or so, you'll do fine.myrtas wrote:Yeah, i just got him several hours ago. This is my first playthrough, still didnt finish the game yet xD. As for the trainer, i just followed the guide and there were no problems.Meowminator wrote:Hm....that is quite an issue then...........has anyone here been able to get the last trainer? im almost at that mission and would hate to miss out on them
Might want to ask phlebas
Which memory editor are you using/would recommend ? And do you think Cheat Engine would work ?
EDIT:
I have a question guys. How much of a challange would it be to do Hard Mode ? I still have not finished my first normal mode, so im wondering when i do my 2nd playthrough, should i do a Normal one again or go with Hard ?
Would doing Hard mode with my leveled up characters be as challanging as doing a Normal Mode Newgame ?
Yes, Cheat Engine works perfectly fine. It's what I use for most of my gaming cheating impulses.
EDIT: Yeah, like ABC said alot of the faceless mooks turn into Crouching Mook Hidden Boss, a few of the later mook fights were harder than the Eternal bosses (Shun aside, that bastard is outright stupid hard)
PM me for a table of CE addresses for all the spirits in Eien no Aselia. If you don't know what I mean, just be on your way...

Lol, interesting discription!ABC123 wrote:In Hard mode you will find faceless mooks you faced in normal mode will be upgraded to demonic spiders. And Shun can use his nuke 3 times instead of 2.
Fine as in first playthrough fine ? I see. I guess ill just go with another Normal Mode just so i can *Breeze* through the game ^_^If you did a decent first playthrough and got all your spirits to 20-25+ or so, you'll do fine.
Got tired and confused from managing all my constant saves in case i screw up somwhere or to prevent character deaths or attempts to get the rank. I remember when they captured a city from me. The first time, nothing happned and i got it back, it was part of the plan. Mission 17: Stop the Exodus of Mana
But the 2nd time was in Mission 19: Bypass the Wall of Order, i got the city on the right side with this one unit and then the enemy just cheated and spanwed several units like hell and i was ooh shit, i hope i can whitstand that assault. Turns out i coudlnt without sacrificeing a character, so i decided to retreat and when they got the city the game said "-20 Mind for everyone"
So, yeah. It was wierd cause it didnt happen to me the first time :/ . Thanks god for those saves.
Thanks. Good to know that info. Might use it in Super Hard or if im fed up. I guess thats what your signature is about, right ?Yes, Cheat Engine works perfectly fine. It's what I use for most of my gaming cheating impulses.
BTW shiirn, nice work on the list xD

Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
My experience fighting generics on Hard rather than Normal was that they lasted longer but that your units could take more hits than on Normal, so you could actually soak up an Apocalypse II or Elemental Blast even though it's beyond your banishment abilities. Same goes for dual-hit Heaven's Swords.
Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
Btw.....just a bit curious since you mentioned the cheat engine and how if you level up using it all it changes is the level. If so could you change the level back to 1 with the lvl99 stats and skills to raise a character to max stats possible? Yes I'm a filthy filthy cheater and was curious if this is possible.
Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
I dont know, i didnt try it. Interesting suggestions, maybe the game would think your lvl 1 and adds stats to that based on you lvl 99 stats. Though at the beggining the stats gains would probably be insignificant and there wont be any new kills to learn (except for the old one)YamiLeto wrote:Btw.....just a bit curious since you mentioned the cheat engine and how if you level up using it all it changes is the level. Or if you do that the character might reset :p .. lol, as i said, didnt try it
Hey shiirn, u still didnt get the blue spririt trainer ? am curious bout the blues xD

Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
You mean Soul Release and retrain them ? If yes answer is no.Btw.....just a bit curious since you mentioned the cheat engine and how if you level up using it all it changes is the level. Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
I think he meant by using a Memory Modifier (such as Cheat Engine) to manually change the lvl of a character. So, if a lvl 99 Youto was changed into lvl 1, would he retain his skills and stats ? And if yes, if he re-lvl him up, could he add more stats and therfore go beyond the limit?ABC123 wrote:You mean Soul Release and retrain them ? Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
Exactly what I meant so kudos to the above. Though I'm getting a feeling it probably wouldn't be possible...heck I can't even find the address to directly raise his stats. Plus if you raise the max hp it tries to reset for the next level. Example being my Yuuto with godly 999k hp (hax I know) tries to regain his lower max hp when he levels up again. So I get the feeling the game can tell when some things are out of place and there are limits to cheating (I'm crying inside trust me ;o;).myrtas wrote:I think he meant by using a Memory Modifier (such as Cheat Engine) to manually change the lvl of a character. Re: Level 99 Spirits [Spoilers]
I actually did this once and it's not something you want to do. The leveling system works like this:Btw.....just a bit curious since you mentioned the cheat engine and how if you level up using it all it changes is the level. For every level of all the spirits, they have a SET HP/ATK/DEF/RES value set for that level. If you de-level your character from 99 to 1, and then level him to 2, he'll lose his 500%/4XX%/etc etc and revert back to the crap ones he would have if he were NORMALLY level 2. On the other hand, he will re-gain any skills gained from those levels.
I took a hiatus from the internet, I might go about getting the last trainer - but keep in mind, I could just as easily show you my level 96 blue spirits (And etrangers), because NO CHARACTER EVER gets skills 96+, and they'd be pretty much exactly the same except for maybe 1-3% lower stats and a bit less HP. If you'd be fine with that, please please do tell me, since getting that last trainer seems to be turning me into a cosmic plaything.
