We’re proud to announce the release of our first translation, the English localization of Tears to Tiara. The patch can be downloaded at our downloads page. Make sure to visit our forums to report any errors or discuss the game.

It’s because you’re on vista. You need to run the game with admin rights for the game to be able to make the saves.

I downloaded the patch from Rapidshare but when I start the game, the text is all random blotches. Anyone know how to fix this?

Why would you dl it from rapidshare, when there’s a direct dl link here… anyway try without the chinese patch.

I just started playing this game a few days ago, and before I knew it my whole weekend was gone in an instant. The translation was nothing less than stellar, and I could foresee my future weekends be spent in a similar way…

first of all thankyou very much for the hard work. i haved installed the english patch. when i tried to play it the text appeared in the game are not clear, i can’t even guess what its writing. can anyone tell me why and how to solve this problem?

With TtT anime slated to come this spring, I’d expect an explosion in amount of visitors interested in grabbing the patch. Hope you folks have the bandwith when that happens and site doesn’t keel over and die
For a fan translation, stellar work. In many ways you managed to eclipse even many professional translations. Which makes quite a few of us wonder, are you planning to translate something else as well as the same group, or was this a one-project thing?

I was playing this and i found a glitch in the program for some reason its just mine. The glitch is trying to save the game, which i cant for some odd reason (i know how to save, but it does let me). Neone can help?

I’m getting the problem after the patch where the voiceover cracks up and the text keeps repeating “I’ve sent the villager off with my best smile”. Anyone else getting the same thing?

Someone reported the same issue on forums. Simple solution: run in japanese locale or with applocale.

applocale failed for me, how do I switch to Japanese Locale manually?

Control panel->regional and language settings->administrative->change system locale->japanese. Or something like that depending on your OS.

To be able to save you must run the game as Administrator.
Right click “TtT English.exe” and choose “Run as administrator”.
