That should be the driver for your video card model, but sounds like there might be something wrong with your system/widows/setting, the error you got in the first place was because DirectX couldn't even query your video card's capabilities - as though you didn't have one. I'm afraid I have no good ideas atm.

Alright so I figured out how to get past my problem. this link shows how to get past the INF error, which therefore defeats my original problem. please refer anyone with a similar error to this page, and have them read the 8th post:
