Game Speed?

This may seem weird, but how do i increase the game speed for fights? in the first battle i forget what i hit but it went a little faster but since then i havent been able to speed the fights up at all.

Ctrl (the skip key) works to speed up battles as well.

Weird i keep trying it but it doesnt do anything wether i press it or hold it down ... O.o

That's odd, or maybe it just doesn't work in some battles... I haven't actually used it except a few times to try out so dunno :S

When you change the text skip mode to only skip text you've read, it will stop letting you fast forward in battles. This is just what I've noticed.
