I'm having some problems here, and I hope someone can help me out.

I'm on Aselia's route (first playthrough), Chapter 3, Mission 16. And for some reason I cannot hear the rumor to get the trainer Rowinar. Not just that, I can't seem to hear the rumor from Rizario in order to get Garion to spawn, and tried conquering Deodogan, but I didn't get the trainers/engineers that are supposed to join my forces either. I don't know what happened to cause this. I was able to hear Nestoselas's rumor when total turn hit 200, and that was several chapters back.

So...Am I bugged or something. A heads up, I am using the trainer, but that never prevented me from hearing rumors before.

Edit: Never-mind. I found the...problem. Strangely, keeping Yuuto's mind at 30 (had to set it back at 100) with the trainer prevented me from getting rumors and the trainers/engineers from joining me for that mission.

My friend asked me some questions regarding Aselia. One of his question is how to beat the eternal at stage 23 (the woman with a whip)... I remembered that she has some skills that makes our party can't do anything, but I forget how to beat her

If memory serves me right, her specialty is a start of battle skill that reduces your actions. To defeat her you have to attack her with skills that activate more than once per combat phase. Connected will only activates once for example, so if you bring it into battle it doesn't go off at all. Photon blade activates 3 times or so if I recall, so even if she reduces actions by 1 you would still be able to get to hit her 2 times. There are other ways to defeat her but basically this is the basic way everyone should be able to pull off.

I'm thinking of starting over because I don't have a few people with KK at mission 18. I know Shiah and Nelie will get it when I choose later, and it seems that Selia will get it too later "when someone dies", which I haven't seen yet.

However, I also don't have Halion and Nanaru on KK; I suspect that I missed their scenes in mission 9, which I thought I viewed. But I did a lot of backtracking because I was making corrections as I was progressing and maybe I chose Aselia's bath scene instead.

Before I restart, is there anything I need to be aware of to get everyone to KK, such as if a route will determine (in the first playthrough) if I see/miss certain scenes?

EDIT: Is it possible to get SS rank or even S on mission 5 because the enemies won't attack even if my troops are there.

Kinda late answer but here goes...

For the first playthrough I didn't bother with SSing everything (mostly got rank C ), kept Aselia in Yuuto's squad (for every squad you kill, the heroine, in this case Aselia, gets love +1) but got Uruka route, go figure. I went for the subspirit scenes, never chose something that would give Aselia love+ (except in the prologue). I don't think that a specific route has any impact on seeing/not seeing a subspirit scene, you just have to make the choices that trigger subspirit scenes (and lose some love+mind points, not a big deal imo).

Mission 5 is HARD to SS on your first playthrough, if I remember correctly Nanaru is still to weak to oneshot enemies, and they attack you only every 3rd or 4th turn, I think.This thread has some tips. On your second and subsequent playthroughs it's easy (in my case Nelie+Esperia+Nanaru obliterated the enemies).

First of all thanks to Dakkadongo for translating this. Second, thanks for the walkthrough. I know the game is old and has been discussed, but I noticed a few, let's call them errors. Now, mind isn't that hard to keep at 90+, but some of the choices give mind, but in the walkthrough it says "---" (mostly for Yuuto). I noticed that on my 2nd playthrough, but didn't bother to keep track of that, so for the sake of completeness I'll write them here as I go on my 3rd and subsequent playthroughs if that's ok with the staff who made the walkthrough since I don't know if an update is planned.

#1 Chapter 3, after mission 12, when you go get Youtia, and you talk with Esperia, picking the choice "(I feel like I shouldn't ask.)" gives Yuuto Mind +5.

#2 After mission 14, it's stated "(all routes except Aselia and Orpha)" Yuuto gets Mind +15. That's the event where Youtia gives Yuuto the "strange" tea and he falls asleep, right? I think it should be all routes except Aselia, since I'm on Orpha's route and got that scene.

#3 Didn't notice it at first, but the event at the end of prologue, I get Yuuto Mind -1, and then Yuuto Mind -5, so a total of -6.

If someone else has the will and time to confirm this, you're welcome to.

One question regarding the translation. When dueling non Eternal Shun (mission 21), if you go to his status screen, under Sword, it says "5th rank - Oath", while if you read his profile, it says that Oath is the same rank as Desire. Desire is rank 4, so I dunno if it's a typo in the translation or something.

If that's already been brought up, I apologize, I didn't read through the whole thread. I know I'm nitpicking but the perfectionist in me doesn't give me rest.

I'm at the final mission and wondering who I should max out of Helion, Faren, Himika, and Halion (levels 1, 18, 7, and 11 respectively). I maxed out all others and still got a good amount of ether left, but all four of them don't seem to be of good use to me.

Himika and Halion because they join first? I read and think both Helion and Faren sucks.
