Sorry but I disagree, that scene was a joke (and Kyouko 'disappears' after it very disappointingly) in the original, so makes sense it didn't happen in the Expansion.

Uruka still needs more love.

Disappointing maybe (Kyoko is by far one of the most mentally weak girls i ever seen, after all...and i even expected her to be so from the beginning...)

but lets say this one in the expansion is more disappointing
(btw, im not saying the H-scene is good or anything ok ? its just that the script in the original at that scene was better...Im the type to think alot into words, after all)

Hope i can get more from the expansion...but i cant find it yet =o=...anyone know a good torrent link to it ?

Btw, Youtia seem to have an Osaka accent (though its not that clear)...ANyone know alot about Jap accent here ?

I think she looks kind of silly in that form, and was better with Void. My favourite Eternity Sword upgrade is probably Eternity.

I'm just at chapter 4 myself. I wish sub characters had a seperate poll, I just can't choose 3, but here is my list:

esperia: my fave, When I first saw her I thought she looked lame. But it didn't take long for me to adore her.
Orpha: I normally hate young,childish, cute characters. But she is just too cute to hate
helion: Not sure what makes her stand out to me, I just like her
Lesteena: Many games have the good-hearted noble ruler, Lesteena stands out among them because she makes hard decisions in the story. In particular, the fact that she declares war on the empire, and not the other way around was pretty unique. I don't care for her alter-ego much though =p.

after 2 and 1/3 full playthrus my tastes are pretty much the same.
I'd give Esperia all 3 votes if I could though. Too bad she kinda stinks gameplay wise with that resist. Anyway, if anybody didn't vote for her, I suggest seeing a doctor about your poor taste issue >=P.

It's so hard to limit yourself to only 3 characters...

I chose Aselia, Lesteena, and Nim. Each and every one has their own perks though, and the heroine's route, I tend to like them the best, obviously.

My list might change once I finish the last two routes though.

Only done Aselia, Esperia, Lesteena routes so far, but my choices for now are:

Nelie - Early on, I wanted to choose her for all 3; I like her better than Helion and she's awesome in gameplay (well she was awesome at the very start, then sucked until around the 2nd half of Hard when I needed her high level interrupts and she got HSIII). Makes me very unhappy that she got so few scenes compared to the rest of the subspirits, I really hope for Spitan to be translated so I can get more Nelie.

Esperia - If not for the fact that I'm skipping text now and thus don't see Yuuto's interaction with her anymore, I think I'd feel sad about abandoning Esperia on every other route. I felt that way on my first playthrough (as did Yuuto, was amusing though when Aselia got jealous on the way to Kihanore) and I definitely would now that I've played her own route. The combination of her being such a perfect wife and her traumatic past makes her impossible to resist (now if only she had some "resist", dohohohoho)

Kouin - He's just too awesome, though admittedly sometimes he was almost too perfect (although I hate to throw the term Gary Stu/Mary Sue around), like how completely rational he was dealing with their appearance in Phantasmagoria and subsequent capture, being able to wield his sword with no hint of problems like everyone else had (maybe Karma was just a nicer sword than the others, I dunno). Of course that's also why he's stuck being a side character while the flawed Yuuto is the main character, as Kouin amusingly bemoans at one point.


Honorable mention:

Lesteena - Nothing special until playing her route, after which I feel bad about ignoring her almost as much as I do with Esperia. Her route was so depressing and at the same time annoying though; as people already warned me, it has the least content (though it makes sense why it's that way), and...

Io - I was really mad when Lesteena route had no extra info about Io, just that fanservice scene (damn, she is the sexiest spirit, though of course it helps that that scene is newer art). I thought for sure the 3rd playthrough or Lesteena route would have more about Youtia/Quedgin/Io, but I guess Quedgin's flashback and the enemy Io's status/skill descriptions are all you get
