When he became an eternal, his existence should've been forgotten by all the people that knew him right ? But there's this peculiar scene in Kyouko's route that confused me..
How did Kouin still managed to remember Shun existence ?

He calls him 'Akitsuki'. . . it was as if he had known him from a very long time... Not to mention, Shun never gave anyone his name when he became an eternal either.

is this a translation error, a plothole, or I'm just being stupid to not understand this ?

this was talked about quite alot already. i'll summarize it for you.
you don't get forgotten when you become an eternal, what made yutto be forgotten is only the entrance door to the sword's maze.
its probably a security system of some king or something.
and because shun haven't passed that door he wasn't forgotten.

I see..guess I didn't searched this forum enough.

That means there are several ways to become an eternal. I wonder if all the Law Eternal also need to went into that gate, and in turn being forgotten by all the people that knew them. . . but what the heck, does this mean that to become an eternal, one does not need to have their existence forgotten ?

behind that gate there is only 5 swords (at least now) and all of them chaos eternal swords.
this gate is probably some kind of fancy storage room of the chaos eternals.

edit: just got to some conversation on this matter in takomi's route.
she told yutto that every time eternal leaves a world, everyone in that world forget about them.
this more or less explains everything.

Im gonna save tokimi for last in case other routes are sad ... As things are, it seems that the happiness in tokimi's route ending is probbably the most (except Aselia's - Shes kinda out of league =o=)

Well, you also learn about the gates in Lesteena's route...see the epilogue.

Well, I'd say Orpha route is pretty happy.

At least don't spoil the endings guys =o=
