Cheese wrote a quick update of the graphics installer. If it works, expect a new patch tonight, but for the time being extract this in your game root folder and run graphic_installer:

Let us know if it works better.

@Zero
Ok..so i pressed the "Auto adjust" button on my monitor when Aselia started up once now, and it scaled to screen normally w/o any black borders. And everytime i start it again, its automatically scaled as well....dunno about after restarting...but meh IF it doesnt auto scale after restarting, i just need to press that single button xD.
My desktop is unchanged though, so i dunno why it didnt auto scale aselia earlier, my desktop was the same before i auto adjusted too o.o
Maybe Aselia is just too old heh.

It should have everything working, but maybe your data got corrupted on earlier fails, you'd want to replace data01.gd from game disc to game data folder and run it again.

Nemo wrote:@Zelgadis : have you tried running the en-patch installer again without doing anything else (like copying files or such over) ? The second time could be the good one !
Yeah I did. I always try not be a nuisance so I try stuff on my own/read everything available on the subject. I paid attention to your post especially since you suggested enlarging cache file size but after some research I'd rather not do it. Not feeling like causing major problems in my system.

I tried installing it twice (and more) as you suggested. Even used SmartClose software to be sure I don't have unnecessary processes running where I don't see them. Still nothing. Guess 2gb RAM is just not enough for the current version of the installer. Notice that among people reporting that issue only you reported a success having 3gb RAM. Though I wonder if there are people with 2 gb RAM (or less) that actually managed to install the patch without problems...

EDIT: Wrote this post before the post about patcher was there. Installed the graphic installer...on second try. At first try it restarted my PC. On 2nd try I used SmartClose and tried again and yup, it installed and works! For those with 2gb RAM or less I recommend SmartClose, it might really help you. Truth be said I still haven't reached the tutorial/battles Zero mentioned, when I do and see whether they are translated or not I'll edit this post again. Thanks for the fix!

Tried that then, it corrupted the game, just comes up with error when i try to load, after installing the image patch.
So i guess for me, the Original patch "Not Enough memory" Didnt give me the images, nor that blue and white text (that ive seen so far).

Ill keep trying, but its nearly 5am so ill be sleeping soon, ill get it back to where it was, (With script + Images Transed, but no blue and white & battle text)

*EDIT*
Not sure if you wanted me to try the grapics patch by itself or not, so attempted that but Data91.dll and .gd Dont Exist yet, without the patch.

Ok it's getting a bit messy so try it like this
1. Reinstall game
2. Install patch (graphics compiler will hang up, close it)
3. Copy Data01.gd over from disc to \data folder
4. Run the separate graphic packer.

Still won't work after this?

Hmmmm that means your briefings didn't compile either, so it wasn't just the graphics. Good info, won't be fixed with just that but easier to fix manually (those files are small so I can upload the briefing one). You never saw the briefings in English, right? And same with battle dialog, I suppose.
