Thank you. Is there any other attacker ability with elemental affinity? I am going to assume all of Yuuto's are neutral?

Lots of them. All abilities with 'golden' names are elemental.

I keep losing the first mission! Help!

Edit: No matter what I do, Esperia dies. Even Sengoku Rance's training level wasn't this hard

Camping on a base will restore your health and skill uses. If the enemy is using an offensive Support skill, put Aselia in Support so she can suppress, like the hint says. Don't go too far and retreat as soon as your Accurate Block skill is close to running out.

I spent a while agonizing over the first mission until i realized that the fastest and smartest way to kill enemies was to camp in a town and let them suicide against your defense (lol)

how much of a difference in bonus mana is SS to S

like, if SS is 100% is S 85% or something? im noticing it's getting absolutely ridiculous trying to SS on first playthrough.

Still on mission 1, currently leveling up Yuuto. Since I'm aiming for Eselia's route for the first playthrough what formation should I be using (I'm getting the feeling this is going to be harder than Sengoku Rance  )?

Plus it is also important to note character stats I think (though I need to confirm this) that they are multiplied to the base attack power or defence power of a skill. So say Yuuto with a 300% attack stat and a 450 power skill is 1350 attack power after mods.

For Aselia, since she gets priority, you can use any unit with her in it. I like Yuuto, Esperia, Aselia, but Esperia can be replaced by others. Yuuto gets quiet good at guarding latter, but he is a much better supporter.

For the first playthrough:
If you're going for Aselia, use Yuuto/Aselia/Esperia.
If you're going for Esperia, use Yuuto/Esperia/Orpha.
If you're going for Orpha(you lolicon you), use Yuuto/Orpha/and a green or blue subspirit - either have yuuto be defender with a blue attacker, or yuuto attack with a green defender (Better)

This is due to the priority of the routes; but if you can keep count of how many squads your Yuuto/Heroine squad has eliminated, you can switch it to something else once you've aquired the needed Mind - but be sure that a higher priority heroine doesn't meet the requirements as well.

If you can't get SS, don't sweat it. The mana, ether, and mind bonus you receive isn't all that awe-inspiring, it's much more efficient to level your characters for ease of playing.

Leave SSing every single mission for when you've gotten level 99 spirits. Then go play normal mode. You'll 1-hit everything in sight.
