Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough 1.12
Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough
As far as I know, the buildings follow you through the mission, as does ether and mana - so you don't need to empty it every mission.
Sometimes you get a boost to unrefined mana. I've never used much ether factories, but I'm always dry by the end of the mission - so I'd definitly not advise building too many factories (unless you have too much mana on your hands, doesn't really matter since you can get refunded).
My tip would be : Usually you'd want to be done refining by the end of S rank, so that if you miss it by a few turns, you can use the remaining time in A rank to train your characters to max levels (putting each in a separate squad).

Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough
Would like to know, is just choosing the heroine's event choices not enough to get her route by the first branching point (basically to get love 40).
If not, it seems like i'll have to team the heroine up with yuuto, to get her love up...however.....just how much love does a battle with yuuto give? and does that squad need to kill the enemy or just partcipating in the battle with those 2 is enough(and some other squad can kill the enemy off).
Also, does every heroine start with 0 love?

Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough
The guide answers those, it has an entire section on love... well I guess it directly doesn't answer your first question though it lists all the love rewards but no, it's not enough. You gotta hang out with the girls for some fun blood and gore, words are cheap!

Yeah nothing like a bunch o' guts to win their affections.
That's going to be hard when I'll go for Orcha's route, since I never EVER use her... Everybody has either a way to banish her spell, or to damage her directly, and since she's got the healthpool of a half dead rat...
Or maybe it's just easier to get everyone else's morale down once you know you have enough love points, so they dont overtake her ?

Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough
It must be me lacking English knowledge, but could you clarify the following sentence for me:
"On subsequent playthroughs, you must avoid picking at least one of the choices marked with a ♥"
I presume that the "on subsequent playthrough" you mean after you finished the entire game at least once.
But I have trouble with "you must avoid picking at least one of the choices marked with a ♥"
Does that mean you have to skip at least one of the choices marked with a ♥? Or should you avoid them all?
And out of curiousity, what happens if you dont avoid picking at least one of the choices marked with a ♥. Do you get a bad end or something?

We indeed had trouble making the wording clear on that one haha, it's the best we could come up with ;D. But yes, you have to skip at least one of them. And only on 2nd playthru and after.

I'm doing a new game, trying to get all the goodies and such...
In Mission 16: Capture the capital of Malorigan,
"When moving to Rizario, you hear a rumor about a dragon, Gatekeeper Garion in Rasheed Mountain Pass. You need to defeat it before the end of the Mission 18: Break through the Matriarch's Wall and capture Lirelurael To get Guardian Ajugis to spawn."
I went to the city of Rizario with a squad, got the rumor, then sent my main squad to the tunnel (where the target had appeared, and I've double checked it on the map). Yet there's no dragon to be found. Any clue ? I ether ported to Rakios and walked there, but I've tried to trigger the fight with several other squads without success.

Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough
He doesn't spawn instantly, you can check the dragons info later on in the guide. That's just a requisite to get him to spawn, he's a bit hidden. The ultimate dragon, that Ajugis.

The "for every enemy squad that you destroy with Yuuto, each heroine in that same squad gets Love+1" also seems somewhat unclear to me. Does it mean that the squad containing Yuuto must kill another squad, or does that mean that Yuuto himself must kill members of the enemy squad. I am asking because in my game Yuuto was teamed up with Aselia and Esperia (the only combination that actually allows you to kill somthing) from the beginning. And this squad (Aselia powered by Inspire mainly) has killed most enemies in most missions (that is a lot more than 40), yet it does not seem that the relations are at max.
Than again maybe it is a good thing, as I kinda want a Lesteena ending, but can't disband my single most powerfull squad mid-game.
For that matter, the guide mentions that there are six pictures to gauge how much points a heroine has. Can somebody rip them from the game? You can't really tell by the current picture in the status, what stage that picture has.

Re: Gameplay FAQ / Walkthrough
If the squad containing yuuto causes the removal of an enemy's squad (They poof out of existence, not the individual spirits), then the other two characters in yuuto's squad get love+1 (Unless they're minor characters or Kouin)Fhoenix wrote:The "for every enemy squad that you destroy with Yuuto, each heroine in that same squad gets Love+1" also seems somewhat unclear to me. If you're massacring with an inspire/passion-powered aselia (Hugest damage-dealer EVAR); then you're heading full steam ahead for the aselia route. Or, you can purposely drain her mind to below 20 to get the Esperia route; other than that you're pretty much done - check the "route priorities" and you'll see that you unfortunately stuck with the two highest priority first-game routes.
Personally, I never noticed any difference in their status picture whatsoever, except of course when a character got posessed by their sword and their eyes went all empty.
PM me for a table of CE addresses for all the spirits in Eien no Aselia. If you don't know what I mean, just be on your way...
