Just wondering about the romances...

I havn't finished the game yet, and it's great so far, but I just wanted to know if there are any intimate scenes between Yuuto and any of the Spirits? I know it has no H scenes, but things like making out or taking a bath together or something like that. Or do they ever have sex but just don't show it? Like they get into bed and then it blacks out, next day...

I only ask because this is my second real VN, first was Koihime Musou, and I found that the H scenes actually added to the story somewhat. It made the characters feel a lot closer, and so far none of the characters in EnA have done more then hold hands. I'm only in chapter 2, but im impatient and curious

I think hugging, kissing and saying that they slept together (no sex) is about as intimate as it gets without h scenes. There are a few bathing scenes as well. There is one particular scene that implies sex, but you get it on pretty much every route anyway (*cough* tokimi *cough*). Generally at the end of the story you get to spend eternity with your chosen partner (one poor girl is an exception though...) so you likely have plenty of time to have sex... it's just never shown. It's plenty implied in some routes though by the erm... thumbs up sign and the fact you actually get a kid on aselia's route.

Honestly I'm kinda confused by what exactly you call romance. Sounds like you mean anything sex-related, and don't really care about non-physical romance (for the purpose of the question at least), but yeah, I'd say there's a good amount of non-physical romance too.

Ok, just finished the game. Just to clarify something... Yuuto has sex with Tokimi, right? for the ritual or whatever he needs to do so he can be "accepted" by her... it really didn't give a lot of detail.

If so, I feel really bad for her :/ she waits ages for the guy, and he basically goes "Well, it was fun taking your virginity, I'm gonna go spend eternity with someone else now.". On the first playthrough, at least...

Please explain to me the difference between romance novels and porn? I know that many women read romance novels, and many men look at porn. I don't see men on here asking to get their wives off of the literary sex, so I was wondering: is there a difference to you? Thanks in advance!

It's erotica (or colloquially smut) if it's text only but explicit, and porn if there are visuals attached. That's pretty much it, I'd say. Not all romance novels are erotica, of course, just like not all visual novels are porn.
