Was just testing the attack formula and I get the right damage down to last digit on both physical and elemental attacks. You should note though, that the debuffs are applied before damage and thus factor into the formula as well, and for instance Aselia's Heaven's Sword gives -Resist, a lot of other attack skills also give debuffs.

Heaven's Sword gives debuffs ?

I'm rather confused right now.

In the screenshot the situation was.

Aselia had 474 Attack and Heaven's Sword V 2600 and there are 2 Silent Field II activated target had 105 def and Treason Block VIII 1000. How we calculate the damage ?

Yes, certain Heaven's Sword give debuffs. I think one of the blue spirits Heaven's Sword don't give debuffs, not sure which one. To view the debuffs, just select the skill and look to your LEFT hand side. It lists "additional" effects of the attacking skill. Debuffs are not always "ONLY" applied to support skills.

Black spirit attack skills also give debuff, not always, but most likely so.

PS: I noticed the change for the love requirements for Tokimi, which is just swell, I nearly made the mistake of letting Yuuto sitting in main heroine squad again. Thankfully I wasn't too far into the game, the love points weren't significantly high yet... But I think I'm in danger already, lol.

How do debuffs work ? When I used Leap attack the debuffs it gives supposed to decrease defense gave me only 2 digit difference lol.

Er, blue attack skills that include debuffs normally don't affect "significantly" if you want significant "debuffs with attack skills together" you would be looking for black spirits.

I'm comparing this with attack skill counterparts of the same level obviously. As your level goes up (skill level), the debuff effects should be more obvious.

All I can remember ontop of my head is, black spirit's attacks have significant reduction in enemy attack power. Other than that, to have significant spell effects, you are better off sticking with supporter spells for the job. (Obviously we are saying your black spirit is targetting enemy attacker/supporter that is using attack skills)

In mission 16, there is a team on the enemy side with Heavenly Sword II that sits on the capital then moves to the middle route city when the middle route is threatened.

Well... she is one shotting everyone. Even Yuuto (Lv 18) with defence buff (wind whisper II), or Esperia with Yuuto's defence buff (concentrate)... Is there a way to lure her off the castle? Once she is off, she will be easy meat. If I attack the capital from another route, would that force her to leave to defend the capital? (Capital is empty at this moment).

I just finished the first playthrough, picking all aselias eternity skills to remove heavens sword etc, just to see i can't use it on my 2nd game. My question is that do heavens sword skill show up on later levels? My concern is that by removing heavens sword, it might not show up anymore when leveling.

Yes, it does. I am unsure whether taking HS III and not replacing it with HS V was a good move, personally.

I believe I handled her with a Himika(L20)/Uruka(L22) combo - Uruka hits her with Full Moon Sword and Himika with an Inferno. Her Heaven's Sword II does 3.5k damage physically, and anything that gets past your block does slightly over double damage due to element - you're really not supposed to go via Mieyu unless you're levelled enough to deal with something like this.

Not sure if she leaves the city if the capital is under threat, but I doubt it.

I handled it with Aselia/Yuuto/Esperia. Revive keeps your guys alive, and then get another squad to hit the foe harder.

Thanks for the suggestions. Problem is, of course, she comes with a blue spirit with Ice Banisher V (she was the one guarding the capital city). V. Even enough to wtfpwn Apocalypse or revive. The one originally sitting on Mieyu came towards me and was dispatched easily once she is no longer on the castle. Uhmmm..... the delicious 36000 mana that city offers along with 16000 that spirit offers.... must resist...
