Kaori's favourite quote was something like "we have two hands, one to grip a sword and the other one to hold hands",During Esperia's route when she told me about her past with Rask, that's exactly the same sentence Rask told Esperia before... So, what does that mean? Does it mean Phantasmagoria really is issue from a fantasy book Kaori loves to read? Or maybe was that book written by Rask himself? That would also mean that Rask is an Etranger...

Re: Rask and Kaori's quote
Meh my bet is some wandering eternal used the quote a lot so that the quote crossed worlds. After all it is proven some people retain slight memories of eternals such as Yuuto having nagging feelings when he's somewhat remembering an eternal.

I don't think he could've been a swordless Etranger, given how hungry everyone was for them, and there's no mention of any between the Four Visitors and present day. It's possible to make any number of hypotheses about how the connection came to be though, since the lore leaves big gaps open for interpetation. There's no evidence for any of them, though, so it's purely academical.
For instance: One of the previous 4 Etrangers was an aspiring writer, whose 'desire' was to make a book for some orphans back in Hyperia, which 'Desire' (or another sword) then fulfilled, perhaps posthumously, so the book was originally written in Phantasmagoria and then 'imported' to Hyperia.
For all we know though, there's no connection in the books and writers just liked that line a lot.
