Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
About difficulties:
If you're wondering what to pick, you really, really should play on "Impossible" difficulty
. It's about "normal" (hard for bonus dungeon), main issue that comes on this difficulty is that you have very limited time before all mobs left on the map activate, on some easier difficulties you have unlimited time to pick out the mobs one by one... you won't get full value out of the game if you don't play on Impossible since the easier difficulties are unnecessarily easy.

Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
Seriously? So this isn't like Utawarerumono where the hardest mode is... well... hard to put it blunty... very hard?Phlebas wrote:About difficulties:

Well now that I got the hang of the combat system I was going to give it a go anyways, but really it sounds like I might just be disappointed.
As for the easy modes, I think they are there for what I was using them for. The battle system isn't all that enjoyable to me so for the story play through I put it on easy and just let the CPU control my troops. It works and I can sit and watch Mythbusters or something while waiting for the story to resume. Basically it is there for people who are there for the story part of the game only. Though on Easy your units can still get owned so badly by mages

Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
How do you pass through the bonus tower?
The lass stage is very ...difficult, i was defeated after 1 min
,
(Leaf staffs and Drwc are strong nukers after all.... ,they defeated my unit in 2 hits:( )

Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
No it's not like Uta. And this is exactly what I meant, if you can pass the whole game on autocombat the battles are just redundant and you won't enjoy them much.Shun wrote:Phlebas wrote:About difficulties:

Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
What difficulty? I just cleared that last floor and it really was pretty damn tough on Impossible, I was using only the main cast though. Basically you need high magic defense on all characters (and lvl 99 highly recommended). Spread out and take out the misc enemies ASAP - once you're down to the 3 'bosses' the rest is doable as long as you have Riannon and a fighter with good defenses alive (Arawn, probably). If you have money, I recommend giving those Gladiator helmets that cost 1M to the characters which have good magic def (definitely recommended for Riannon).conanak99 wrote:How do you pass through the bonus tower?

You should use Magic avoidance on Arthur to prolong his life though he's pretty impossible to really keep alive - he can easily slash apart several misc troops at least.

Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
A valuable news item: the Knitted Muffler is a light Omnitorc - it increases all your stat gains similar to the normal (cheap) torcs - in other words, it's pretty bloody good.

Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
What if I train Morgan to level 10 and 20, will Hunter and Minstrel still be unlocked?cheese wrote:What are the unlockable mercenary classes?

Is it a shop item, or random map reward?Phlebas wrote:A valuable news item: the Knitted Muffler is a light Omnitorc - it increases all your stat gains similar to the normal (cheap) torcs - in other words, it's pretty bloody good.
Re: Gameplay FAQ/Tips
