Once again, tech support isn't my forte, but since I don't think I've heard of this particular problem and it sounds rather generic more than application-related, 3 possibilities come to mind, in the order of likelihood: 1) Your windows installation is screwed, 2) Your HD is screwed, 3) Your memory is screwed. If you know you have an old windows installation, a re-install would be a logical step to start from. Borked registry or otherwise messed-up setup might be the cause.

Oh, of course there's also the possibility of your application being corrupted.

i run it with the permission of the admin... now it says "no tears to tiara installation could be detected on your system, Please install tears to tiara before running this patch"

though i dont have tears to tiara yet~

what should i do next??

It should be pretty obvious what you need to do next, at this point...

Step 1: Get Tiars to Tiara.
Step 2: Install Tears to Tiara.
Step 3: Install the English patch.
Step 4: Profit.
