i've got a question: when i fight last battle (Shun) i cant find another way to win except to sacrifice 2 subspirits so that he wont use foton ray anymore... will the death of some subspirits affect ending in any way?

doing my first playthrough i finally got to become an eternal. so here's the question: if i keep eternal skills for my 2nd playthrough, they will be unusable for most part of the game, but if i overwrite them with normal skills, will i be able to get eternal skills after i become eternal again?
