Alright so I figured out how to get past my problem. this link shows how to get past the INF error, which therefore defeats my original problem. please refer anyone with a similar error to this page, and have them read the 8th post:

I tried your download, but it said it "couldn't find the components that can be installed on your current hardware or software configuration. Pleas make sure you have the required hardware or software." I also tried to install a different driver, but it says "INF error. can't find my video driver?" ...

that link sends me to a program I have to pay for though. You shouldn't have to pay to update a driver.

I don't really want to run any games stronger than this one, and if it's possible I'd rather not spend my money; I have two of these free laptops so I'm not especially worried about it frying. Yes, it's a laptop. and I don't know if I have the latest driver. where can I find it?
