Really? Then what's with the preview showing cgs of Aselia being disrobed (0:36-0:38 of the video)?Phlebas wrote:Um no, it's the all-ages version.

Might as well put mentions of the game here if you see them, interested to see what kind of coverage it gets.

Ah, the video... good point, for some reason the PC backport used the original PC opening instead of the (in my opinion superior) PS2 OP, which has some CGs you don't see in the all-ages version ^^.Megaolix wrote: Really? Of course even the PS2 OP includes that one Esperia CG that you don't get in the all-ages version.
Also I wonder if they'll fix that bit of dialogue in Esperia route that alludes to the removed Kaori H-scene.

Which version are they translating? Are they translating the version you guys already did? (Kono no Daichi no hate de)
Re: JAST official Eien no Aselia localization
It's certainly all ages, so probably. Although it's listed at vndb as "15+" while the Dakkodango translation is 12+. I wonder how much adult content those three years get you....probably none.Greyfox9109 wrote:Which version are they translating? Are they translating the version you guys already did? Re: JAST official Eien no Aselia localization
Well at first I thought maybe Dakko said 12+ simply via common sense/guestimation. While JAST took a more ESRB-defined approach... But well, 15+ isn't even an ESRB catagory soo... Really, wtf is 15+.
Maybe they just say 15+ because the actual material isn't inappropriate for 12+, but they figure the game's audience is more for 18+? I dunno.

We're happy and excited to confirm that unlike previously announced, JAST has decided to use Dakkodango's translation in their localization project, and we would also like to extend our thanks to everyone who's given feedback to polish it to its present shape!
If you already played and enjoyed the game, but *ahem* don't actually own a copy of the Japanese original, which were relatively hard to acquire, here will be your chance to get something nice on your shelf

That's great.
Since they're using your translation (hopefully without forcing localization), I'm compelled to pick up a copy.
