Reinstalled the 1.03 and it gave me a little lag when i first launched it but it seems to be doing fine now. Don't know what happened.

And under which name are the saved files located again?

I don't have a file by that name on my harddrive...

Getting some weird glitch since I had to Ctrl-alt-delete out of the game earlier. As a result, I'm not allowed to load my save files, and I keep getting a chain of error messages in Japanese, one of which says something about Mode = 2.

I'll reinstall if it means not losing my save files, but it seems an odd sort of way for the game to break.

Yeah you won't lose saves in reinstall (tho it's always a good idea to back them up).
